Pass the Arizona Coronal Polishing exam
Submit an Arizona Coronal Polishing Clinical Skills Affidavit to Dental Assisting National Board
Receive the Arizona Coronal Polishing Certificate, sent upon complete of the exam and submission of the clinical skills affidavit

Dental assistants who wish to legally operate dental x-ray equipment and perform dental radiological procedures must hold a current board-approved certificate in radiology. A certificate can be obtained by the following:

Pass the Dental Assisting National Board Radiation Health and Safety Exam
Pass the Arizona Clinical Radiologic Proficiency Exam
Receive the Arizona Radiologic Proficiency Certificate upon successful completion of the above steps
