Arizona Physical Therapy Association (AzPTA ) & American Physical Therapy Association (APTA)

The Arizona Physical Therapy Association and the American Physical Therapy Association are the two primary professional membership associations that physical therapy students and practicing physical therapists can go to for information and guidance.   An elected board for each oversees issues such as legislative concerns, membership needs and benefits, public relations, and continuing education.   In addition, scholarships and award recognition, employment opportunities and volunteer involvement are all offered through these associations.  Membership fees are charged in order to maintain the function of the organizations.
