There are typically three choices to obtain appropriate training to become a radiology tech in Arizona and they include: a certificate program, a two year associate’s degree or a four year bachelor’s degree. The most common option seems to be an associate’s degree. There are Arizona radiology tech training programs available, as well as plenty of online degree and certificate options.

Upon graduating from an accredited radiology tech program, one must sit for the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists board exam or the Medical Radiologic Technology Board of Examiners (MRTBE). One must apply for Arizona state licensure by showing proof of passing the ARRT or MRTBE board exam, a passport sized photo, notarized application, and paying any necessary fees.
