Previously, a bachelor’s degree was only needed to become a Physical Therapist in Arkansas. However, a physical therapy doctoral degree (DPT) is most often preferred now. Other degrees can that be used for this profession include a master’s degree of Physical Therapy (MPT), masters of Science and Physical Therapy (MSPT), or a masters of Science (MS).
