RN Salary in British Columbia - BC

Registered nurses in British Columbia must undergo years of training and practical experience and must keep their competencies current. In return for their efforts, the position is rewarding both financially and personally. According to an April 2010 survey by the Canadian Federation of Nurses Unions, the average RN salary in British Columbia is between $29.89 and $39.24 per hour, which amounts to an average annual pay of between $62,171 and $81,619. There are nine steps on the registered nurse pay scale in British Columbia, with the first figure being the entry level salary and the last figure representing the highest step on British Columbia’s RN pay scale. Salaries for RNs in British Columbia are not expected to vary much from that nine-step pay scale.
