How to become a registered Dental Assistant in Delaware
It is not difficult to become a dental assistant in Delaware, but there are certain requirements if your goal is to earn the RDA, Registered Dental Assistant in Delaware. In Delaware, dental assistant training is not mandatory and neither is license or registration. The specific duties, responsibilities, and training of dental assistants in the state are determined solely by the supervising dentist. Full responsibility for the work done by dental assistants has been placed directly upon the supervising dentist by the Delaware Dental Board. Most dentists will require that the dental assistant be at least 18 years of age, have a high school diploma or equivalent, and be certified in CPR.
