To work in the public health profession, you will be required the minimum academic achievement level obtained by a bachelor’s degree, which usually takes roughly 3 or 4 years of online training or attendance at Delaware public health schools. It is important to understand the nature of the business that you are entering. You will be held accountable for members of the public sector that come to you for help. In addition, you must be abreast of the most current federal and state regulations surrounding public health. As you can see, this type of in-depth information will require much more school time.
A master’s degree, on the other hand, will be your ticket to advancing your personal career and working in more obscure areas of public health. This option is to be decided solely by you because the state does require this type of degree; however, you should also consider that many people in your field will undoubtedly go on to obtain their master’s. With that being said, having a master’s degree can help to make you more employable and more respected in this field.
You will have many educational institution options when you begin looking for a school. There are schools in your local community and state that offer excellent public health programs. However, you should be aware that there is a large selection of great public health programs available on the internet as well. When seeking out the perfect school for you, you need to make sure that it both meets your individual needs and that it is accredited by the CEPH.
