South Dakota Dental Hygienist Continuing Education Requirements

In a five-year continuing education cycle, a dental hygienist must complete 75 hours of continued education, five of which must be in dental radiography. A CPR card must be maintained. The CPR card must come from the American Heart Association for Healthcare Providers or the American Red Cross for the Professional Rescuer.
