If you want to earn a health education degree in Utah – whether you desire to do so on a virtual, community college, or university campus – there are several venues through which you can do so. Utah programs focus on helping individuals, communities, and societies improve their lives by adopting healthy living. Many programs in this state are family centered, just like the surrounding community.

In a typical undergraduate program, there will be several options to choose from, such as community health care education, emergency medical services, pre-medical, consumer health, and public education. Health education includes a broad spectrum of careers. When you start your college education, it is also a good time to choose the area where you would like to specialize, so that the rest of your training is in line with this goal.

Beyond undergraduate work, Utah schools also offer two-year masters and three- to four-year doctorate programs for health education. These graduate programs aim to prepare students for professional work and research in the field. Graduates leave these programs prepared to serve in careers such as public or private school teacher, college and university professor, staff within county and state health departments, and research staff with the federal government.
