A health information management degree in informatics incorporates several disciplines:  Health care, computer science and information science, which involves collecting, classifying and analyzing data.

A minimum of a 2.5 GPA is required for incoming students who will take common liberal arts electives such as English literature, as well as courses covering health law and ethics, and the principles of disease research and reporting.
