How to become a dental assistant in Illinois
While you can seek certification from by taking the Dental Assisting National Boards (DANB) to become a certified dental assistant (CDA), this is not a requirement in Illinois. Ultimately, networking to find an office you like and preparing a great resume is the best way to find a dental assistant job. However, by earning a dental assistant certification, you certainly make yourself more marketable. Typically these certifications are offered through community colleges and take nine to twelve months to graduate.
