Continuing Education Requirements for Personal Trainers in Indiana
While there are no requirements for continuing education for personal trainers in Indiana, both the NFPT and NESTA require you to complete continuing education unit in order to qualify to take a recertification test. Both require at least two hours of continuing education per year for recertification in the area of personal training study of your choice.
There is also more specialized training available depending on the particular area of personal training in which you are interested. Everything from a strength-training specialty to mixed partial arts training specialties are available.
