Professional Organizations within Respiratory Therapy

American Association for Respiratory Care

This association has been established since 1947 and is committed to improve upon the professionalism for you as a respiratory care practitioner, improve your job performance, and assist in the broadening of your scope of knowledge that is vital to success within this profession.  This organization has approximately 47,000 members nationwide and is the only professional organization for respiratory therapists that work within hospitals, home care companies, manage respiratory and cardiopulmonary services, and provide education and training for respiratory care.  There is no charge for membership.

Indiana Society for Respiratory Care
