  • Completing an accredited course in order to gain Kentucky massage therapy certification.  The regulations put forth by the State require 600 hours of completed course work before a person can undergo taking the State Exam.
  • When you have finished with your course work the next step is to contact the Kentucky State Licensing Board with what course you completed (info to contact below).
  • The next step is to pass the certifying exam offered by NCETMB (National Certification Exam for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork)
  • You then must put in an application with the Kentucky State Licensing board that regulates massage therapy.  Along with your completed application and application fee will include your proof of training.
