According to the American Massage Therapy Association, massage therapists earn an average about 19 hours a week of actual massage related work at about $41.50 an hour, including tips. On average, massage therapists make $45,000 per year in Oklahoma City and $41,000 in Tulsa.

Due to the physical demands of the job, 17 or more hours of actual massage per week is considered full time.
