Massage Therapists typically charge by the hour or a specific length of massage. Fees vary depending on the type of massage, whether the therapist is the owner of the business and the location (i.e., a high-end spa vs. a strip-mall walk-in site). Tips, of course, add extra wages and can make up 15 to 20 percent of your salary.
