There are a few organizations that support and advocate for the profession of Massage Therapy and oversee massage therapy training in Massachusetts, and nationally. The American Massage Therapy Association is a national organization that represents the profession on a national level, addressing national issues. The Massachusetts Chapter of the American Massage Therapy Association is a local (statewide) group that represents the Massage Therapists of Massachusetts in legislative, professional and education venues.
