Continuing education and License Renewal for Massage Therapists in West Virginia
In the state of West Virginia you must gain national certification in order to be granted a state license. Once you have completed massage therapy training in West Virginia, passed the national certification exam and gotten a state license, you are then only required to renew at a state level. The requirement for the state license renewal is 24 hours of documented continuing education every 2 years. It is also not a bad idea to stay current with your national license by submitting the continuing education hours of 48 clock hours every 4 years. In order to have your state license renewed you must also pay a license renewal fee.
