In Michigan, attending physical therapy assistant schools with those types of credentials will make you more recognizable as a potential job candidate and will give you the very in-depth educational background that your profession demands.
In the profession of a physical therapist assistant, there are two types of degrees that will suffice: a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree. You are only required to have the minimum of a bachelor’s degree to practice in the state of Michigan. However, if you are thinking of expanding your career at some later point, you may want to consider getting the master’s degree.
The degree program that you choose will include all the basic core general education requirements with a focus on physical therapy and medical specialties. However, the general education requirements are a prerequisite for obtaining a bachelor’s or a master’s degree.
