There are a number of certificate, diploma, and associate degree programs online as well as being available through Minnesota medical coding schools and medical billing schools in Minnesota. These programs can adequately prepare students for CBCS certification. The AHIMA certifications require CAHIIME-accredited degree programs, and there are three associate degree programs, one bachelor’s degree program, and one master’s degree program in the health information management concentration in Minnesota.
