Missouri Medical Transcription Training Programs

Medical transcriptionist training in Missouri usually consists of either a one-year certificate program or a two-year associate degree in medical transcription from a community or vocational college. Those with at least two years of experience in acute care may to take the Certified Medical Transcriptionist (CMT) examination. Both exams are offered by the AHDI and may be scheduled online at http://www.prometric.com/adhi.  Fees for the RMT exam are $200 for non-members and $120 for AHDI members.
