There are several Missouir ultrasound technician schools that are accredited. At least one sonography program is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP). To be accepted to one of Missouri’s Diagnostic Medical Sonography programs, potential students must have a bachelor’s degree in science or an associate’s degree in radiology technology. The programs allow students to focus on a particular specialty, such as vascular and medical sonography.
