Physician Assistant Education in Montana - MT

There is no market for a physician assistant who does not have the proper training and education under the belt. The state will not license a prospective resident without education through the accredited physician assistant schools in Montana and a certification from the NCCPA. Likewise, the NCCPA will not certify any student that has not successfully obtained a degree from one of the physician assistant schools in Montana accredited by the ARC-PA. So, it stands to reason that attending a nationally accredited school is of the utmost importance to a physician assistant student in Montana.
In Montana, it is highly recommended that a student hold a master’s degree in medicine or science in order to pursue a profession as a physician assistant. However, a bachelor’s degree is completely acceptable and will not ban any student from obtaining work in the professional field.
Through campus based and online programs, aspiring Physician Assistants in Billings, Missoula, Great Falls, Butte, Bozeman and Helena, Montana may be able to prepare themselves for the possibility of employment in some of the largest hospitals and healthcare facilities in the state including the Bozeman Deaconess Hospital, Kalispell Regional Medical Center, Northern Montana Hospital and St. Patrick Hospital and Health Sciences Center.
