Licensing process for Vet Techs in Nebraska
The steps to obtain your license are straightforward. Following each step in the license process will ensure that you will be practicing as a Veterinary Technician soon after you are out of school.
- Complete your application form with all proper information including a permanent home address.
- Submit the current amount required to process your application.
- Deliver an official sealed copy of your educational transcripts. Instruct the school you graduated from to send them to the Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services (do not have the transcripts sent to you).
- Supply the Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services with the results of your Veterinary Technician National Examination (VTNE).
- Furnish a copy of your driver’s license or birth certificate (for proof that you are over 18).
