Dental assistants need to find a certification program in dental assisting, also available at community colleges. There are a variety of dental assistant schools in Nevada. Courses will focus on science, laboratory procedures, radiology, and practice management as well as externships. These programs can be completed in two semesters, programs may range between nine and twelve months.
