Continuing Education in New Hampshire
The New Hampshire Board of Nursing has required 30 continuing education hours every two years for renewing licensure with the state. The purpose of continuing education is to advance the nurse’s professional knowledge and on-the job skills. Board approved activities include workshops, classes, lectures, etc. New Hampshire allows a variety of eligible topics to count toward continuing education, but in general any topic related to the art and science of nursing will qualify.
