New Jersey Occupational Therapy Degrees

Money.com recently ranked the position of Occupational Therapist as one of the least stressful positions in America. Half of all Occupational Therapists say their job is not stressful, according to the article. Occupational Therapists work with people who have some sort of disability, whether it's mental, physical, behavioral, or emotional, and help them return to more normal functioning. The job setting is flexible, perhaps contributing to the low stress factor. In 2007, there were approximately 2700 licensed Occupational Therapists working in the state of New Jersey, earning an average of $75,000 per year, according to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics. Not only New Jersey but all of the United States can look forward to the number of Occupational Therapist and Occupational Therapy Assistants positions growing through the year 2016.
