Physician Assistant Education in New Jersey - NJ

Before entering a training program offered through one of the Physician Assistant schools in New Jersey, you may be required to complete 2 years of college. During this time, the coursework should focus heavily on medical-related subjects like chemistry, biology, physics, and mathematics. Any clinical experience you can acquire will be helpful for entry into the training program.
Continuing Education Requirements for Physician Assistants in New Jersey
Every two years, you will be required to renew the license. Because of the dynamic nature of the Physician Assistant’s career, it is necessary to remain updated on current research, policies, and procedures by accruing 100 continuing education credits within the two-year licensing period. These continuing education classes are available at any number of Physician Assistant schools in New Jersey. At the time of renewal, provide proof of the continuing education credits, fill out the renewal form, and pay any renewal fees.
