North Carolina Personal Trainer Schools - NC

As the citizens of North Carolina become more concerned with their health, and as baby boomers retire, people are spending more time on maintaining their physical well-being. As a result, the personal training field, which provides these people with guidance on appropriate fitness routines, is growing. According to the North Carolina Career Outlook Handbook 2007, the projected growth in the personal training field for the years 2004 to 2014 will be a 2.89 percent annual increase in the number of career openings; note that the handbook specifies any area growing more than 2.1 percent to be one of high growth. The 2007 handbook puts the total number of personal trainers in North Carolina at 5,330, whereas the National Bureau of Labor Statistics puts the same figure at 6,690 in its May 2008 report -- an increase of 1,360 in just a year -- another indication of rapid expansion of employment opportunities for personal trainers in the state.  This makes North Carolina personal training courses a wonderful way to get started on a very noble career.
