Nutritionist School in Delaware

The first step to beginning a career as a nutritionist is to choose a nutritionist school in Delaware and a degree program. In Delaware, you will have two degree options: the bachelor degree or the master degree in human nutrition. All nutritionists in Delaware are required to complete education that terminates with at least a bachelor degree.

  • Complete a bachelor degree education program in nutrition (must be accredited, such as by the American Dietetic Association on Commission on Accreditation for Dietetics Education or the Commission on Dietetic Registration)
  • Have completed at least 900 contact hours of training

  • Pass the Delaware licensure by examination test

Nutritionist certification in Delaware begins with the Clinical Nutrition Certification Board (CNCB), which is an organization that awards the Certified Nutrition Specialist (CNS) credential to qualified candidates.
