Healthcare Administration Program In Ohio - OH

Not only is there is no shortage of places to get a healthcare management degree In Ohio –but a wide range of cities in which to live while in school. ‘City folks’ will be drawn to the bustle of Akron, Toledo, Cincinnati and Columbus (population nearly 800,000). More rural settings exist in towns with less than 60,000 people including Mansfield, Euclid, Middletown, Kettering and Cuyahoga Falls. Courses are offered across the state and community colleges or technical programs willingly work with universities to fulfill requirements and make a smooth transfer.
Schools and medicine are big industry here in Ohio. Notable fortune 500 leaders include Procter & Gamble, Cardinal Health, Medical Mutual of Ohio and Invacare. Top hospitals with gross earnings over one million dollars annually are: Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton, Metro Health Medical Center in Cleveland, Mercy Saint Vincent Hospital in Toledo and Mount Carmel West in Columbus. Also in Columbus is Ohio State University Hospital, with revenues of close to four and a half million per year.
