Ohio Ultrasound Technician Schools - OH
Enroll in one of the Ohio ultrasound technician schools that are approved by the Commission on Accreditation for Allied Health Education Programs (http://www.caahep.org/). You can find such programs in most any technical/community college, university, hospital or online school offering allied health programs. You'll need to get an associate's degree or can opt for an advanced degree. The associate's degree can be finished in about 2 years.
The curriculum will consist of basic college courses along with medical courses such as anatomy/physiology, terminology, and basic patient care skills. The ultrasound courses will be specific to each ultrasound type.
