As you begin your research on this dynamic and rewarding career, you will come to learn that midwifery programs in Pennsylvania are completed with a Master of Science degree in Nursing (MSN). In order to be eligible for this type of educational program, you must have a current nurse registration and a Bachelor’s degree. It is not crucial that the degree be in nursing, but most schools recommend it because of the advantage it will give you. Some students elect to attend school part-time, while others choose to attend full-time.
