Known as “the Granite State,” New Hampshire shows off its natural beauty, sporting the tallest mountain in America’s northeast. State parks, the Appalachian National Scenic Trail, lakes, rivers, streams and several miles of Atlantic coast afford a unique opportunity to experience the New Hampshire great outdoors. With the state’s four-season climate, you can enjoy basking in the summer sun on an ocean beach, taking a colorful autumn hike, or shushing down one of many spectacular snow-covered ski runs during a New Hampshire winter.
Beside outdoor activities, you can visit New Hampshire’s many museums and historic sites. Or, you can take in the performing arts at the Stone Church, the Capital Center or a host of other venues.
Steeped in American history, New Hampshire’s state motto, “live free or die,” attests to the tradition and importance of sustaining individual freedoms for all who live there. With this mindset and all else that New Hampshire has to offer, it’s no wonder that professionals seeking work / life balance choose this state to live, pursue careers and raise their families.
The New Hampshire Association of School Psychologists (NHASP), a state chapter of the National Association of School Psychologists (NASP), provides information ranging from living and working in the State of New Hampshire to professional certification requirements for the state’s School Psychologists. In addition to facilitating professional workshops and training conferences for its members, NHASP serves as an advocate for School Psychologists at the state government level.
