Continuing Education Requirements and Licensure Renewal for Oklahoma psychologists
Those holding a psychology degree in Oklahoma must renew their license each year. This must be done annually by December 31. Each year the fee is $400 and is done through the Oklahoma State Board of Examiners of Psychologists.
Twenty hours in continuing education must be done each year to maintain a license. If someone has a health service provider certification, they must ensure that 3 of the 20 hours must be related to laws and professional practice issues relevant to health service providers. See the board website for more. Continuing professional education (CPE) credits must be completed each year by September 30 but one can pay a $50 fee for an extension, thus making the due date December 31. CPEs must be entered online after January 1 and before November 1 or a $50 late fee will be incurred.
