There are organizations for dental assistants in Rhode Island. The field of dental assisting is expected to grow by about 30% through the year 2016, according to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics. Now is a good time to join the dental field in Rhode Island. Dental assistants must work under the supervision of a dentist but are not required to be licensed.
