To become licensed in Vermont, you must pass an examination and fulfill the educational and experiential requirements. Once you have obtained your license, you are required to earn 20 continuing education units (including 1.5 units on ethics and a maximum of 5 hours of informal activity as described below) every two years in order to maintain your licensure. Informal activities include video or online programs in relevant topics (with written objectives and led by a qualified individual) or independent study projects sponsored by approved organizations.
