Texas Association of Registered Veterinary Technicians – This is an organization formed to promote veterinary technicians and the profession of veterinary technology in Texas. This group represents veterinary technicians in matters associated with the Texas Veterinary Medical Association as well as in legislative matters that may affect veterinary technicians. Texas Veterinary Medical Association - This is an association that was formed to represent the veterinarians of Texas but they also have an interest in the promotion of the RVT credential and the role they play in providing quality care to the pets. Currently this group is responsible for granting registration to veterinary technicians. www.tvma.org
