To become a dental hygienist in Utah, complete the following steps:
- Earn a degree from a dental hygiene school accredited by the Commission on Dental Accreditation.
- Pass a National Board Examination.
- Pass an acceptable Regional Practical Examination (WREB, NERB, SRTA, or CRDTS).
- Submit an application, along with the $60 non-refundable fee, and all required information and documents, to the Utah Board of Dentistry.
- You will now be considered a registered dental hygienist in Utah.
