Physician Assistant Education in Utah - UT
Utah State requires the completion of a formal program offered by physician assistant schools in Utah or through accredited online schools. Most students applying to such programs have a college degree and some health-related work experience. Two to three years health related experience is preferred. Degrees that prove the most beneficial to potential physician assistants are in chemistry, biology, other sciences, health science, or pre-med. Bachelor’s degrees can be completed in four years. Physician assistant education programs can usually be completed in two years for full-time students.
