In Washington, there are a couple of degree options for those interested in long term care careers, but the first choice you must make is which long term care school in Washington you want to attend. Although there are several schools to choose from, you should make sure that the school you choose has a degree program suited to your personal and professional career goals.

To be licensed as a long term care provider in Washington, you will need a certain amount of collegiate education, depending on which branch of long term care you are pursuing. Licensed practical nurses in Washington should ideally have a 2-year associate degree, although 1-year certificate programs are also acceptable. Registered nurses will need to have a bachelor degree in nursing studies.
