Professional Organization for Pharmacy Technicians in the State of West Virginia

West Virginia does not as yet have a member-based professional organization.  They do have the West Virginia Board of Pharmacy.  This organization aids in setting rules and regulations governing the actions of a pharmacy technician in West Virginia.  They hold various events for pharmacy technicians to continue education and engender fellowship among pharmacy technicians.  The WVBP also provides a great resource of knowledge for all pharmacy technicians, from those simply contemplating this field to those who have moved from another location to those who have been practicing pharmacy technicians for years.  That knowledge ranges from how to receive and renew certification to how to seek help if you develop a dependency on a prescription drug.
