Radiology Tech School in Wisconsin - WI
Because Wisconsin is one of the few states in the nation that does not require licensure for radiologic technologists, the state does not mandate that a radiologic technologist follow a specific educational path to practice. However, the national standard for credentialing of radiologic technologists is the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification examination. This credential requires that a student attend an educational program that is accredited by the JRCERT, or Joint Review Committee on Education of Radiologic Technologists. These programs can be found in a variety of two year, four year, or teaching hospital institutions. Like all medical professions, radiologic technology education involves both formal classroom and clinical education. This design allows for the supervised transition from the theory to the practical.
