The coursework in this program is comprised of both general healthcare and science subjects and occupational therapy specific subjects. Some general healthcare classes include:

Education will play an important role in an occupational therapist’s career well after employment is gained. The WBOT demands that all licensed occupational therapists spend at least 16 hours of continuing education every year as a requirement for license renewal. All continuing education activities must be directly focused on heightening occupational therapy competency in some aspect and be WBOT approved. To ensure the appropriateness of a chosen continuing education activity, occupational therapists must provide WBOT with the following documentation:
-explanation of relevancy
-proof of course content
