Chiropractic School in Idaho - ID

If you’ve thought about a career in natural medicine or working as a chiropractor in Idaho, the first step is to find an educational program that will equip you with the skills you need to get licensed and start practicing.

Chiropractic is a challenging field, and you’ll need to go through several years of schooling before you’re prepared to begin practicing in Idaho. First, you’ll need a strong undergraduate background in science, English, and math, culminating in either an associate’s or bachelor’s degree. Once you have completed your undergraduate education, you can move onto graduate study in chiropractic at an accredited four-year chiropractic institution. There, you’ll take courses in physiology, microbiology, and anatomy, learn to do laboratory work, and practice your skills in a clinical setting.

Upon graduating from chiropractic school you’re ready to start your career in Idaho.  Still, formal learning doesn’t end once you’re a practicing chiropractor. Idaho requires chiropractors to complete at least 18 hours of continuing education each year for license renewal, up to a third of which can be online or distance courses.
