As an RHIT candidate, the certification program will require you to have the necessary skills to will work with all parties involved in a patients healthcare. You will also need extensive computer software and technology skills as healthcare facilities are encouraged to continue to implement electronic health records (EHR) in their daily operations. The RHIT credential is awarded to the student who completes an accredited associate degree program and passes an examination.
