Health Information Technology Certification in North Dakota - ND

Those who complete the Registered Health Information Technology (RHIT) certification in North Dakota will be well prepared to support the electronic health records systems of the 53 hospitals, approximately 300 clinics and numerous other medical facilities and physician’s offices that are found throughout North Dakota. In order to apply for the Registered Health Information Technology (RHIT) certification, a student must have completed, or be in the final semester and nearing completion of, an associate’s degree  from a Health Information Management (HIM) school that offers a program that is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation for Health Informatics and Information Management Education (CAHIIM).
