As a student of Mississippi vet tech schools you will be awarded an Associate in Applied Science in veterinarian practice. During your course of study, you will be exposed to many of the same practices anyone in medicine participates in. This will include basics such as animal hygiene and care. You will also be taught how to instruct the pet owner on “best practices and care�? of their pet. Other skills will prepare you for medically determining disease and other health related issues found in animals.
