Registered nurses in Nebraska who are looking for a position that allows them greater independent responsibilities and the ability to make judgment calls in treating newborns and infants may want to consider enrolling in neonatal nurse practitioner programs within the state or online. Examples of possible settings for clinical practicums in Nebraska include Bryan LGH Medical Center in Lincoln, Lincoln Surgical Hospital in Lincoln, Alegent Healthcare in Omaha, Children’s Hospital and Medical Center of Omaha, and the Alexis Verzal Children’s Rehabilitation Hospital at Madonna in Lincoln.
