Veterinary Technician Education in Nevada

The college or institution of higher education you attend will confer on you an Associate in Applied Science of veterinarian technology. Nevada vet tech schools have latitude in the coursework, but it must be an accredited institution.

License Renewal

Nevada State Board of Veterinary Medical Examiners mandates 15 hours of continued education credits. You are allowed to take up to five hours of these credits in an online or distance learning setting. The remainder must be in person from a Board approved testing facilitator.
